In a real operating workflow

A camp tote has its own order and collection details.

Maya buys a tote from the camp shop. Your team needs the item, option, quantity, payment and fulfilment instruction. Keeping the order with the customer means the purchase is useful to the reception team and remains part of the wider customer record.

A physical product order and a trip add-on are different jobs. Keep fulfilment clear for each.

How it works

Set it up for the way you operate.

01

Create a clear product offer

Present the product, images, price and available options on your website. Explain what the customer receives and how collection or delivery works before they buy.

02

Keep the purchase with the customer

Record the items, quantities and payment against the order. Connect the buyer to their customer profile so the team has the purchase context alongside their relationship with the business.

03

Prepare the order for fulfilment

Review the products and options purchased, check the agreed collection or delivery details and give the responsible team a clear order list. Keep order preparation distinct from trip capacity and guest readiness.

Marnie connects the routine steps

When an order is placed

Connect the item, selected option, quantity and payment record to the customer.

For fulfilment

Keep the delivery or collection details with the order your team needs to prepare.

Your team stays in control

Your product offer

Prepare product descriptions, options, pricing and the fulfilment arrangement.

Delivery and collection

Prepare the item and complete the practical handover to the customer.

For the guest

What the guest sees.

Customers can see the product and options, understand the price and receive a clear record of their purchase. A returning guest does not have to explain their relationship with the business again.

For your team

What your team sees.

Your team can review a customer’s orders alongside their booking history, find the purchased variant and quantity, and coordinate the next fulfilment step with the relevant person.

  3. Payments & revenue visibility

Review booking value, collected payments, outstanding balances and capacity across departures and locations.

Questions, answered

Practical questions about products & commerce

Is a product order the same as a trip booking?

No. A product order records purchased items and fulfilment details. It does not occupy a room or a place on a departure.

How is this different from booking extras?

Use booking extras for services such as transfers, rentals or additional sessions attached to a trip. Use product orders for merchandise and other items sold through your website.

Can returning guests buy from the website?

Yes. Product purchases connect to the customer relationship, including guests who have already travelled with you.
